Change Map Base Location

    Map centering is really critical for both responsive viewports and on desktop. The plugin administration section really needs an area for the site admin to define a “home” location for their maps. We need to be able to add a starting point based on site owner address, or something … anything.

    If a business is primarily in the USA, for instance, it makes no sense to have the map centering in the middle of the ocean and prominently displaying South America. This default location is much more of a problem in narrower responsive viewports.

    After copying off a save of the original plugin script, I tried manually altering the starting latitude/longitude but it seemed to have no effect.

    I’m a Pro Gold licensed user. I posted a similar inquiry to the support forum at your site 2 days ago and it is still awaiting moderation.

    Hi Marj
    There is this setting available. All you need to do is drag the map to your starting location in the map editor and then press “Save map”. That will “lock” the location to that point. Please confirm this is working on your side?
