I am struggling with making my site easy to access, I am building course sites with Learndash – I found their custom registration system in 3.0 to be really confusing to my test users on mobile by showing the Login section and then the actual registration form has to be scrolled down.

Hence I’ve turned that off and using Loginpress to create custom login. I’ve got this working pretty much as I want, but I need to be able to remind older/less wordpress familiar users to click the register link at the bottom of the form instead of mistaking the login form for the registration! (After weeks of development my first hitch on live testing is people are struggling to get past the registration stage on mobile platforms).

At the moment it says the default “Username or email address”. I’ve gone through all the text options in Customizer but cannot find this text. I want it to say instead something like “If you have an account already enter your details below, otherwise please click the register link” or even have the register link at the top along with those instructions.

Is this possible using this plugin or is there something else I need to do elsewhere in wordpress?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi, @robbytherobot

Yes, you can change the instruction messages both on Login and on the Register page.
In order to change the instruction text go to LoginPress Customizer and navigate to Welcome Messages, here you can write down your custom instruction for the Login and register page. Helping doc

The WordPress default register page has only username and email field, it sends the password in an email. But you can enable the password field in the LoginPress Register page. in order to do that go to LoginPress > Settings and here enable the custom Password Fields. it will start showing the password fields on the registration page. Helping doc => Check “Custom Password Field”

    Thank you.
