Some fields have an option within its settings where you change the validation message. For example, if you check email field settings, you will see an option to change the error message when validating the user is entering the correct email format. This option on some other fields like the file upload available is not available to check on the file type validation, but rather if you set the field to required, it will allow you to customize the message in case the user forgets to upload a file.
The good news is this has been added as a feature request and our Plugin Team is currently looking into this. While we don’t have an ETA for its release, I will be adding your feedback to the request.
