change button background

Hello,
i would like to change the text-color and the background-color of my button but when i’m trying that just doesn’t work only on inspector and when i just copy/paste on the customization or custom css section of QSM nothing work.
I’ve already clear cache multiple times from both server and browser

Well, u have to create an account and do to the dashboard to see the question, the ban is blue but I cannot change it

The fact is that the quizz if for only logged-in users that’s why I’ve say that earlier by you need to create an account and go to the dashboard to see the question

and I would like this

but that just doesn’t work when I’m trying to customize this

Can you please add CSS code in the additional CSS section of the WordPress customizer and then clear the cache and then check?
