Category in Page

I am using WP Catalogue on a website and need to add a specific category to page.

There is s shortcode to add the whole catalogue to a page, but I need the specific category to show up on the page first.

I can work within my php files, but I generally need a little push in the right direction when it comes to writing php. I’m just having a hard time finding the correct code for my application.
