can’t upload Word documents (.docx files) | WordPress.org

I can’t upload .docx files, even though I selected MS Word documents from the “Mime types allowed” section under the BuddyPress settings. I get the error: “Sorry, this file type is not permitted for security reasons.”

p.s. I can upload .docx files using the media uploader — so it’s a BuddyPress/BuddyDrive problem with mime types, not a general WordPress problem.

@cmramey I’ll take a look and let you know. This may be related to a known bug that is being patched in version 2.1
