    I am unable to update some products. Some products work fine, but others do not. For example:
    – when i try to change the price, i click ‘update’, the page reloads and says “Product updated. View Product” however when I scroll down, I can see the old price is still there. If i view the page on the front end, obviously there is no change.
    – the above happens if i try to change description or anything else. However the problem only affects some products, not all products.
    – i tried to delete the product and simply create a new version. When i deleted it, the slug changed from ‘exfoliating-scrub’ to ‘exfoliating-scrub__trashed’ however the status of the page did not change. I.e. it was still published and viewable on the front end. I cannot delete the product.

    How can I resolve this?

    This kind of problem is usually caused by either a conflict with your theme or with another plugin.

    The best way to determine if the issue is being caused by a theme and/or plugin is to temporarily switch your theme to Storefront and disable all plugins except for WooCommerce. If you can install plugins, install Health Check. On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you while you’re logged in to that session without affecting normal visitors to your site. Note that Health Check may not count Storefront as a default theme, so you can also use Twenty Seventeen as well.

    If that resolves the issue, then one-by-one you can switch back your theme and re-enable your plugins, testing in between, until you find the one causing the conflict.

    Hi Amanda

    Unfortunately that did not solve the problem. I changed my theme to Storefront and disabled every single plugin except for Woocommerce and I still could not update the product.

    Do you have any other suggestions?
