Can’t set “series” for certain post types

    In the simple podcast plugin, I have set up the Podcast plugin to support podcasts on regular posts and for a couple of other post types that I have via plugins. I can select a series for The Events Manager posts, standard WordPress posts, and of course SSP posts. But I have another plugin (it’s called the UUA Services plugin) which has a custom post type which doesn’t show the series. It does allow me to upload the audio for my episodes, but they end up being part of the default/main feed.

    I would like to know if this is an issue with the ssp plugin or if my other plugin is doing something in a non-standard way.

    Hi there. With v1.20 release that went out earlier today this issue should be resolved. Please let us know how it goes once you update.

    I updated and I still don’t see the series selection widget when adding my other post types. It is a post type that is part of my theme. I don’t think is much that is special about it though.
    Perhaps the other person can confirm if it worked for them.

    I tried unapplying and reapplying the setting..and a few other things but I just don’t see the series widget on the edit page. :/

    If I add it, then the series widget shows up for regular “posts” type, but I haven’t been able to get it to show up for any other post types.

    Note: I know it is recognizing that I selected that post type in the settings because I DO see the podcast widget in the main edit section allowing me to tell it the audio file url, length, recorded date, etc

    I just don’t see the series in the admin panel.

    @lordneeko are you using a WordPress.org theme or a paid theme?

    I’m sorry I answered this through email, but just noticed it never posted.

    I have a paid theme from cmsmasters. I don’t have a staging site, but i’d be glad to copy out some theme files if that’d help diagnose. Just let me know what you need to look at.

    @lordneeko after some debugging with another user we discovered a bug in the registration of series, which has been around for some time. Well be sending out a plugin update soon, so keep an eye out for it.
