Can't import file

CSV file won’t import. The progress bar goes to 100% but nothing happens.

I’ve tried to import .csv and .xlsx files, by dragging them in and via the ‘Browse’ button.

I got debug on but there are no errors related to this plugin, I get the same three errors when the plugin in disabled, just to be clear I’ll paste them here:

JS console gives the following error:

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'value' of null
example.dev/content/plugins/wp-ultimate-csv-importer/js/ultimate-importer-pro.js?ver=3.9.1:18

I have tested the versions: 3.5.0, 3.5.1, 3.5.2, 3.5.3 and 3.5.4.

I got all other plugins disabled.

SImilar issue here, the stuff listed in that didn’t help.

My WP is 3.9.1.

@hilj, we are looking to reproduce the issue now. Is this fresh wp install? Is this a theme conflict in back end because of
get_settings() /vagrant/content/themes/WAUY/functions.php. I can ensure that 3.5.4 is warning free, but still issues created by other plugins and themes. We are looking for more inputs on this.

Can you switch to default theme and give a try? Also check with other themes rather than this themes/WAUY. Let me know with complete details.

Tested twentyeleven and twentyfourteen, same issue, same js warnings.

Also tested on another csv file, if mine was corrupted, but same problem.

Is this updated version 3.5.5? If not update to latest version.

Just tested 3.5.5 wit twentyeleven and my custom theme, same behaviour.

Very odd, 3.5.5 was tested well with wp 3.9.1. Even with different themes twentyeleven to fourteen and couple of pro themes. Even we added a fix for Uncaught TypeError. Do you have any custom code other than plugins and themes?

Alrite, did more testing.

Local Vagrant, Precise Ubuntu on NGinx, : not working
Remote Precise Ubuntu on NGinx: not working
Local MAMP on Apache: works

Could it be the NGinx somehow?

Some more testing: Ubuntu Plesk server on Apache and no go. Only thing where it works for me is MAMP.
