It sounds like you’ve missed a few steps.
When this was done, I expected some new instruction, or an email that would guide me through the next procedure.
During the installation procedure, you should have visited /wp-admin/install.php which would have guided you through the rest of the installation and sent an email with login details.
I am able to go to the site itself (www.3styletable.com) but I have not been able to access my “admin” page ( http://3styletable.com/wp-login.php) which I assume is where I need to go to start using wordpress.
If that’s the case, then the files were probably not uploaded to the right location.
At this point, I recommend starting over. Please review the detailed installation instructions here:

I cannot change my password I log into admin page then cannot find the links to change I hate the password I was given and seem to be stuck with it for now

The wordpress install instructions work perfectly…. if you follow them.
I went to the wordpress website and downloaded the application to my computer. ….. I followed Ipage’s procedure for installing wordpress
.
Ipage offers a blog setup wizard that is different from the WordPress installation method. If you followed the Ipage instructions, all or part way, you can’t then switch to reading the WordPress instructions and expect them to make sense.
The Ipage install system/instruction may end up with your WP install using a custom installation path which we won’t know because it is different from the WordPress instructions.
Solutions:
1. If you followed Ipage’s instructions contact their tech support and ask for help. They will know all about their install method and should be able to help you quickly.
2. Start again from scratch following the WordPress instructions. If you have problems with that we will be able to help you.
Whichever path you opt for stick with it and don’t try to change horses mid stream.
Good luck and let us know which option you take.
