    Please help, i’m in a loop > https://youtu.be/DfbLn1WojKk

I’m trying to complete the installation of the Jetpack plugin, but for this I need to connect to my account in wordress. When connecting, the page automatically reloads and I again get to the window with the inscription “Need to connect to wordpress.com”. Reinstalling the plugin does not change the situation. Someone can help?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @chive

I’m sorry for the difficulty that you are having.

Looking at your site, I see the issue is that your web server is blocking requests to the xmlrpc.php file. When we try to connect to your site via that file, we’re getting a 405 error.

Jetpack uses this file to communicate with your site but it appears that your server doesn’t allow POST requests to XMRLPC.

They may want to restrict access to only certain IPs, which they can do by adding Jetpack’s IP addresses to their allowlist. You can get a list of those addresses here:

    https://jetpack.com/support/how-to-allowlist-jetpack-ip/

Please note that these IP addresses could change (or more could be added) at any time. For that reason, we recommend your host uses the machine-readable versions of these IP ranges in JSON or plain text format to automate configuration changes on their systems.

Once Jetpack can access the xmlrpc.php file, you should be able to connect without an issue.

Hi, Bob, and thank you for your reply. After my request my hosting provider allow the access to xmlrpc.php file.

After all, Jetpack now is install properly and is connecting to wordpress.com.

    But.

There is something wrong with popup that shows comments/replies. It doesn’t load any information: https://real-madrid.ru/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/snimok-ekrana-2022-02-07-v-22.28.05.jpg

    Hi there

I’ve checked your account, and that section appears to be loading without any trouble.

If you’re still seeing the issue, can you check the developer console to see if there are any errors reported there?

You can find guidance for checking this here, if you need it:
