Cannot save changes

    There was an error with version 7.0.0 where i could not access the settings menu at all. That seems to have been fixed in 7.0.1 but now i cannot save settings when i make a change. I get this message, “Forbidden. You don’t have permission to access this resource”. My user role is admin and i have tried deactivating all other plugins and changing themes and nothing seems to be working.

    This sounds like you have a WAF such as WordFence or ModSecurity that is not liking the settings that are being saved (likely getting an HTTP response code of 403). If you have ModSecurity, you may need to check your webserver’s logs to see what rule was getting tripped and see if you need to adjust the ModSecuirty rules.

    After checking error logs. It was a ModSecurity issue.
