Cannot connect to adsense

I am attempting to link my adsense account to advanced ads but it just spins in a circle. I have entered the code that google provided me to paste, and it just spins forever nothing happens at all.

I am on “advanced ads settings” and then “adsense” tab where it gives the option to link your account.
