Hi radioman55,
Sorry to hear about the connection error.
Please, try to disconnect and re-connect your account again.
Please ensure that your AdSense account is fully verified and check if you connected with the correct account if you have more than one.
The connection might not work when your account has more than 1.500 ads. This is not a hard limit, but something we saw occasionally. Can this be the case?
Best regards,
Joachim
Thank you but its a brand new account and so far has zero ads. Can you help?
Hi,
Thanks for your prompt reply.
Is your AdSense account already approved? And is this your only one?
Best regards,
Joachim
Yes it is approved. No I have one other adsense account but haven’t used it in a decade.
Thanks.
It looks like you would not use the current version of Advanced Ads (1.14.11). We are on 1.31.1 and last year, there had been changes to the API.
Can you please check if there is an update for Advanced Ads available in your backend?
Best regards,
Joachim
Your solution worked! I was running an old version. thank you!!!
Hi,
That is great to hear! 🙂
Would you find a minute to say it in a short review here?
Best regards,
Joachim
Even though I am now connected to adsense, I just tried to create my first ad and received the error: Invalid response while retrieving adUnits list for “pub-438406429614xxxx”
Can you help?
Ok. I suggest creating an ad unit in your AdSense account. To import this ad unit afterwards, create a new ad unit and choose the AdSense ad type.
Best regards,
Joachim
Oops I think I know what I did. I accidently enabled auto ads and so now it wont let me choose where I place them. how can I undo auto ads? I want to choose where the ads go.
Never mind auto ads are off. I have no idea why I’m getting this error.
Still getting Invalid response while retrieving adUnits list for “pub-438406429614xxxx”.
Hi,
Here, you can find more information about how to enable/disable auto ads. And here is a tutorial about how to embed AdSense ads manually. This is what I would recommend.
Create an ad unit in your AdSense account > Ads. Afterward, import this ad unit into Advanced Ads and place it using a placement.
I warn you. It may take a while until AdSense fills this ad code with an ad. 🙂
Best regards,
Joachim
Hello. It is when I try to create an ad unit that I am receiving that error. So you’re saying i should select the manual option for creating an ad unit instead?
