Cannot authenticate using API Key -cannot get past ‘refreshing API’

I have contacted IDX Broker support and confirmed that my API Authentication Key is working properly – however when I enter the API key to have it authenticate under IMPress ‘Initial Settings’, it stays in ‘refreshing API’ state
I confirmed with IT that ports are open and info is being sent out, but nothing is coming back. We disabled security plugins and firewall settings to make sure it wasnt anything on our end blocking communication and can confirm that we are ‘open’ on our end.
Any troubleshooting or insight is appreciated.
