• Their cancellation process is longer than it needs to be, abusive in its terminology and ensures I will never use their product again.

After the first year the price doubled (possibly more I didn’t do the math it might have been like 150 jump to 399.)

I used the product for a covid relief site and it was easy to use but no longer needing the product shouldn’t entail a guilt trip and 6 or 7 screens of clicking continue cancel.

  • Hi @koffindodjer,

Thank you for sharing your feedback and we are sorry for any inconvenience that you faced using the cancellation process.

    Why cancellation process is longer?

Our current license cancelation process is set that way in the best interest of our users so that you will be aware of what happens when you cancel the license.
Thus, we show every option related to your license in the process to make sure that you are aware of them. Despite those options, you can still move forward with the process and cancel the license.

But I have shared your feedback with our team and we will be discussing if we can improve this process further.

Why does renewal increase after a year?

I’m sorry for any confusion over our introductory discount. That 50% discount applies only for the first year of a license subscription, and renewals are at full price.

In case it helps to provide more clarification, we include this information on the checkout page (here) before the license purchase is done.

Also, to provide advanced notice, we send out a reminder email a month before your renewal (in addition to the email sent after the renewal is processed) with details on how much the license renewal costs. If you don’t find either of these emails in your inbox, they may have been filtered by your email service’s spam protection settings, unfortunately. I’m sorry if this felt unclear in any way!

In addition to the details that I have shared above, please feel free to post any questions that you have in our support forum.

    Thanks!

    No it isn’t it:
    1. press one button labelled “cancel” it does nothing.
    2. you need to scroll below the fold past a load of reseller ads (no indication you need to do this).
    3. Finally you get a confimation of cancel button, which you wouldn’t otherwise see (it’s carefully designed to be hidden)

    It’s purpose is:
    1. resell
    2. prevent cancellation by stealth

it is not in the best interests of anyone but WPForms, immoral, please AVOID using
