My revert to 2.5.5 seemed to help, but the problem still occasionally persists. Going to try stepping back, version by version, until it stabilizes.
Hi SLCfire,
in doing so, did your events transfer?
I exported it and reimported it but my event details didn’t transfer
Here’s what I did:
1. Backed up my website
2. (Overkill) Made a copy of /wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-event-calendar
3. Deleted this directory, and then unpacked version 2.5.5 in /wp-content/plugins. All versions located here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/all-in-one-event-calendar/developers/
4. Worked. No loss of data
Can anyone suggest another calendar plugin to use? I think I’m about done with waiting for timely to respond.
@noyesjl81
You can downgrade to a working version.
There is an upgrade to 2.5.7 don’t know if the problems are fixed in that upgrade?
Released Jul 14, 2016
Fixed: Exhibition of recurrent events which start date is older than 3 years.
Fixed: All day events weren’t being imported correctly.
ixed: Now “Add Tax & Invoice Options” (Time.ly Tickets) opens correctly in Safari.
ixed: API Sign out wasn’t working for some users.
I see here http://time.ly/document_category/release-notes/
that they removed 2.5.6
No, they are not fixed in the updated version.
Hi anashpeclibrary,
Can you please send your WP admin access details to data@time.ly, I’d like to take a closer look at what’s occurring.
I’m not sure who sent me access, but I checked the site and the user has used Gamma theme, what theme do you use?
I’m also having the problem where the calendar loses it’s formatting about an hour after saving it. I’ve sent details to data@time.ly and hope someone can find a solution soon as this is a pretty critical plugin on our website.
Thanks to all the users that have sent the access details. The development team is working on this issue. I created a public bug here: http://ideas.time.ly/ideas/CAL-I-374, so please vote and subscribe to it to be notified when it’s fixed. Your patience is appreciated.
Thanks,
Ben
In the meantime, please check the permission of these two folders: /wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-event-calendar/cache/ and /wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-event-calendar/cache/twig, should be 775(or 777).
Hi worldrhythms!
I have a question: Is your WP DB being shared between different WP’s installations?
Resolving this topic, as we’ll continue follow up on http://ideas.time.ly/ideas/CAL-I-374.
Hi Calvin
This is our only website so I am assuming the database is not shared in any way.
Thanks
