Bulk Import – Differents Files to differents users

    Hi, before all congratulation for your plugin, it run very very well and it is very efective.
    I’d like to have a new feature in your plugin. I can do a donation for the new feature. I hope you dont need a lot of time in order to make that. I think it is simple.
    I need to do “bulk import” and your plugin let me that.
    So, for example I can import 500 files with the option bulk import:
    “1.pdf”
    “2.pdf”
    “3.pdf”
    …
    “500.pdf”
    It is ok. Very good.
    But now I need share this 500 differents files to 500 differents users, like so:

    user_name_1 -> File “1.pdf”
    user_name_2 -> File “2.pdf”
    user_name_3 -> File “3.pdf”
    …
    user_name_500 -> File “500.pdf”
    With your plugin I can do that, but one by one, so it is very hard (a lot of time…)
    I’d like to have a new feature, where administrator can upload a csv file with the following columns:
    User Name – File Name
    So administrator can build the following csv

    User Name – File Name
    user_name_1 – 1.pdf
    user_name_2 – 2.pdf
    user_name_3 – 3.pdf
    …
    user_name_500 – 500.pdf

    and when the csv is uploaded, files will be shared to the correspondent user, and it no is need to share file one by one.

    I hope you are understand me.
    Can you make this new feature?
    How many donation you want for make that?

    Hi thanks for your feedback.

    I understood your need. But i’d say it’s very specific and i’d do it if this feature was shared by a majority of BuddyDrive users. I don’t think it’s the case.

    FYI BuddyDrive is using custom post types, so i guess you could use WordPress API to achieve your goal.
