Thank you for this great plugin which I use on different sites.

I am using the latest version of the plugin to use the new option of assinging exisiting posts after renameing a slug of a custom post type.
As I am using the WPML plugin I have e.g. 34 posts in German and 34 posts in English which should be assigned to the changed slug. In my case I have a cpt with a slug in German (publikationen) which needs to be changed to an English slug (publications) to get it work with the latest version of the WPML plugin (due a bug in WPML) and assign all posts in German and English to the publications slug without loosing their language set.
By using the “assign posts to renamed slug” option my cpt posts lost their multilanguage support so no language is defined for my cpt publications.
I appreciate any help on this problem.

Honestly, I’m not sure what’s going on with this one. The post type switching that I introduced in 1.1.0 should only be affecting one specific column in the wp_posts table, everything else related to each post should be staying intact for all previous settings.

I don’t have a copy of WPML so I could test anything, but my hunch is that there is a setting somewhere that still has the old german slug and thus the disconnect. Perhaps some post meta?

    Hi Michael,

thank you for your response and shame on me …
I just forgot to assing the correct cpt also in WPML again, so everything is working fine and saved me a lot of time as I do not have to edit the database table column for changing the slug.
Thank you again for this great new feature in your plugin.
