• We’re getting dinged in Google’s PageSpeed because the analytics.js file does not have an expiry date set and therefore needs browser caching leveraged.

I was curious if you were thinking of including this as a feature and whether you had any suggestions on addressing this issue.

    Thanks

  • Hi,

As you may know that comes from Google’s servers. And if there’s not any expire date is for a reason.

There are options to host it locally, but as I said before, over optimizing, in my own opinion, means looking for trouble. These being said, is very unlikely for a such a feature to be available in GADWP at this time.

    Here’s Google’s recommendation: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/1032389?hl=en
