    Hi,

I’ve noticed a significant drop in my Google Ads performance and traced it back to the product feed now including items that was filtered out.

Previously, filters only used OR logic, but it seems that AND logic has been introduced, and at the same time all existing OR rules were converted into AND rules. As a result, a product now has to match all filters to be excluded, which means products that definitely shouldn’t appear in ads are now showing up. I can see that is possible to manual recreate all rules to match the old ones, however I have many many feeds and this would take days.

I see there’s an option to revert to legacy mode, which I’ve enabled as a temporary workaround. However, I assume this option will eventually be deprecated.

How can I continue using the new filters but maintain the same logic they had before?

    Thanks!

    Hi @stevesand ,

No, previously it was always the AND rule. Now we allow the users to have the option to either use the AND or OR rule.

I suggest going through your rules and filter and review them. As for how it’ll continue, our plugin will automatically migrate your current rules and filters.

Alternatively, you can bring back the old rule in Product Feed > Settings > Return legacy filter

Hi, thank you for your quick reply and great plugin.

No, exclude rules have always used OR logic, include rules on the other hand used AND logic, called (include only). Maybe this is where the mix up stems from in the new update. The migration is converting the previous OR-logic to AND-logic for all exclude rules as if they used the same logic as the old include rules. You can confirm this by adding two different exclude rules and toggling between legacy and the new mode.

    Thank you

    Hi @stevesand ,

In that case you can keep the legacy option or downgrade to the previous version. We revamped the rules/filters so I suggest going through your rules and update accordingly.

Just ensure that you use the Add New Rule button: https://ibb.co/jkT3w0S8 for products that you wish to exclude or apply filters to.
