  • Hi Ben,

    Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us.

    We haven’t build in specific support for the official brands plugin of WooCommerce. However I am going to assume that all it does is add an extra input field and thus attribute that can be used in the field mapping of our plugin so I kind of expect it to work (this should both work in the free and paid version of our plugin).

    Are you sure you have mapped it to the correct attribute (please check the drop-downs if there is another brand attribute naming in it)? Also make sure you are not looking at a cached version of the product feed.

    Hope this helps?

    Hi,
    Unfortunately it did not help. I checked and I can’t see anything else that has to do with Brands in the possible mappings. I need to know that this works before I buy the paid version..

    I also tried deleting the file just to make sure it gets re-generated. But I’m having trouble re-creating it. It seems to be stuck at 17% or 33% and then nothing happens.. “processing (33%)”. In the log it says..

    07-26-2020 @ 14:51:58 - Array
    (
        [posts_per_page] => 691
        [offset] => 3455
        [post_type] => Array
            (
                [0] => product
                [1] => product_variation
            )

        [post_status] => publish
        [fields] => ids
        [no_found_rows] => 1
    )

    Thanks!

    After a long time it did finish even though it still says “processing (33%)”.

    How can I reset the statistics of a feed?

    When I map g:size to “Pa storlek (custom attribute)” it uses the permalink of the custom attribute, not the name. The below should be 62/68 but instead it’s 6268. Is it possible to fix that?

    <g:size>6268</g:size>

    Thanks!

    Hi Ben,

    Are you sure the feed has finished? We never had users before reporting that the feed was done processing but the status message was not. Also, does it still show 33% when you refresh your browser?

    With regards to your ‘storlek’ issue. We tried to reproduce that but all works fine for us.

    The attribute looks like this:
    https://www.dropbox.com/s/o6xkfmyzcejz1cp/storlek-1.png?dl=0
    Which results to this in the feed:
    https://www.dropbox.com/s/z15dufd1cr2zhjp/storlek-2.png?dl=0

    How did you create the storlek attribute?

    @supportadtribes I noticed for Brands:

    8.5.1 (2020-07-28)
    Added support for the official WooCommerce Brands plugin: https://woocommerce.com/products/brands/

    Yet, I am trying to map the WooCommerce Brands in the field mappings and nothing is working. What am I missing?

    Hi,

    Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us.

    We have tried to reproduce the issue at hand however all seems to be working fine for us. These are the steps we took:

    We first created a random brand in the WooCommerce Brands plugin:
    https://www.dropbox.com/s/va2sjcgron2ss3u/woo-brand-1.png?dl=0

    That brand we selected for a product:
    https://www.dropbox.com/s/zyxu24b4swcs4ku/woo-brand-2.png?dl=0

    We made sure we mapped the brand attribute to Google’s g:brand field:
    https://www.dropbox.com/s/tnh69bd7ej6c5a2/woo-brand-3.png?dl=0

    Which then resulted to this in our feed (after reprocessing it):
    https://www.dropbox.com/s/9rg55z08olhf2xq/woo-brand-4.png?dl=0

    Did you follow the same exact steps?

    Hi, so it didn’t work when I was modifying a previous feed. Once I deleted the old one and created a new one did it start working.

    That sounds like a caching issue. Are you running any caching plugin or server side/browser caching? Make sure it is not caching the feed URL’s

    Hi,

    Assuming the issue at hand has been resolved and/or our support is no longer needed we are going to close this topic for housekeeping reasons.

    Please do not hesitate to reach out to us again whenever our support is needed.
