    Hi,

i’m triying ThreeWP Broadcast and I’d like to know if It’s possible to broadcast a post and retain the same ID in both sites.

    Thanks a lot

This is almost impossible to do because of how Broadcast works internally: an autosave, post revision or an extra image will move the IDs out of sync.

To keep them exactly 100% in sync will require you to do exactly the same thing on both / all blogs. Exactly.

What is the problem you’re trying to solve?

Rally It’s not a problem. The point is that my permalink include the post’s ID (%category%/%id%-%slug%), so I’d like retain the same url in both sites, if it’s possible.

    Thanks anyway.

Yeah. Disable revisions, disable autosaves, disable any plugins that might be using the _posts table to log visits or similar, prevent anyone else from logging in to the blogs. 🙂
