Best image format and size

    I have searched around looking for info on the best size and format to use with this plug in. It may be right in front of me and I am missing it.
    I am having problems with cropped images and would rather just save the images to the best format once they are edited. This will help me stream line the process of building my catalog.

    The best image size will depend on your theme and size settings in the WP Catalogue plugin. For best results I recommend keeping the thumb and main image size in proportion (so if you thumb is 100×200 for example then your large image would ideally be 200×400 or 300×600… you see, always contrained proportions).

    Format – you can use any common image format that WordPress supports like jpg, png, gif etc
