Could you please try different backup technique (you can find it in „other options” section) at the bottom:
- “Bypass web server limits – it will disable automatic backup and possibility to run it in the background”
- Don’t forget to save the settings 🙂

Everything went fine now to perform the backup, but when I went to upload it on another site it crashed at 100%.

If I understood correctly, you’re having trouble with upload, right?
In that case please try to upload the backup manually via FTP.

Some hosting providers just breaks our upload technique due to their security/overload policy.

FTP should solve the issue and you should be able to finish the migration 🙂

Let me know if you have access to the FTP or not, then we will try to find another solution.

I can see only two options for now, first is quite easy, second is a bit advanced.

a) Try to download “File Manager” plugin and upload the backup using their upload technique.
– Path for the backup “wp-content/backup-migration/backups”
– You can drag and drop the backup once you enter backups directory.

b) Download “PHP Console” (https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-console/) plugin.
– Once you activate the plugin it will show up “Console” in the top right corner.
– Enter the console, here you can run this command: shell_exec("ls -l");
– Submit the command with ctrl+enter or cmd+enter it will show list of files.
– If that works, continue to the next step
– Now we will try to download the backup using PHP CLI manually
– Run: shell_exec("wget <paste here URL to the backup file> -P wp-content/backup-migration/backups");
– Depending on how large is your backup it will take some time
– Once it finish, you can try to refresh backup list
