Back to Pulling Incorrect Images

The plugin is great when it’s working as planned but the plugin won’t pull the correct, main picture for links to pages within my own site. It’s working fine for other sites but on mine it’s pulling a small signature image located at the bottom of each of my posts!

When I queried HostGator about it they said
“The access logs are showing that the page is configured to provide the ciao-marge53.png image:

[13/Feb/2018:15:05:36 -0600] “GET /wp-content/uploads/2014/10/ciao-marge53.png HTTP/1.1” 304 – “http://margeburkell.com/game-day-appetizers/” “Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:57.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/57.0″

You may want to contact the plugin developer again.”

So I am contacting you as suggested… what do I do now!? Instead of a nice card with a big graphic image of the food in the post it is showing a nondescript signature block for every one of my lined posts that are ugly.

The first and second cards are linked to my own site. See how ugly they are? They didn’t look like that before they deleted and reinstalled your newest version of the Content Card plugin.

Going back through all the forum posts I see that I had this exact same problem with the plugin over two years ago… see https://wordpress.org/support/topic/content-card-not-displaying-correct-image-on-own-site/ BUT it was fixed in an update you did.

Why is it happening again?
