I have a simple question. My security plugin shared with me changes in the yoast files. For example: “wordpress-seo/admin/filters/class-abstract-post-filter.php”, “/wordpress-seo/css/dist/yoast-extensions-561-rtl.min.css” or “wordpress-seo/js/dist/wp-seo-babel-polyfill-551.min.js”.
That’s normal, or? I just need to know if that comes from the plugin itself.

    Best Regards

  • Hi,

Yes, we can confirm both of those files listed are expected to be part of the Yoast SEO plugin. However, it looks like the plugin (and by extension those files) are out of date as the newest version of Yoast is v5.7.1 not 5.6.1 or 5.5.1.

If you have not yet done so, we suggest updating to the newest Yoast to take advantage of new features and fixes. This guide explains more: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-can-i-update-my-free-plugin/
