    First off: I’m using Divi.
After activation, almost nothing works in the dashboard anymore; even the link in your own (!) prompt to check something in the Divi Theme Builder – whatsoever – just keeps taking me back to the setup routine. The entire menu structure is down.
Not everyone has the time, right after activating a plugin, to go through the entire setup process from start to finish. If even the first step of the setup doesn’t work, you lose the desire to continue.
Since I wasn’t exactly looking forward to any more unpleasant surprises, I had no choice but to manually delete the plugin from the directory structure – and probably just write it off as a bit too strange for me.

    Hi,

I’m sorry to hear about the issues you experienced. That definitely isn’t the experience we want anyone to have.

The setup process is normally very quick and takes less than a minute to complete. We have many happy customers, including Divi users, who specifically appreciate how simple the initial setup is. We also use Divi ourselves and have not encountered the behavior you described, so it sounds like something unexpected may have occurred on your site.

We provide support 7 days a week and typically respond within just a few hours. If you decide to give the plugin another try, we’d be more than happy to help you identify what went wrong and get everything working properly.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We genuinely appreciate the feedback, and if you have any questions or would like assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Thanks for your response. To try again, I’ll need to set up a completely new WordPress instance for testing purposes; I’m not sure when I’ll have time to do that. But I’ll keep an eye on the plugin.
