Hi @vladav ,
Thanks for the screenshot.
This looks more like a CSS/JavaScript optimization conflict than an AIOSEO issue. I can see Autoptimize is active on your site, and I’ve seen cases where CSS/JS minification or aggregation can affect the layout of admin screens.
Could you please try temporarily disabling any performance/cache/optimization plugins (such as Autoptimize) and then check whether the AIOSEO screen displays correctly?
If that doesn’t help, please install the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin and enable Troubleshooting Mode. This allows you to temporarily deactivate plugins only for your user session without affecting visitors.
We have also covered this in our documentation here-
https://aioseo.com/docs/how-to-troubleshoot-issues-with-all-in-one-seo-pack/
While in Troubleshooting Mode:
- Check whether the AIOSEO screen displays correctly with all other plugins disabled.
- If it does, re-enable your plugins one at a time until the issue returns.
- Let us know which plugin causes the layout to break.
That will help us determine whether there’s a plugin conflict causing the problem.
Thanks!
Hi, I’m Autoptimize’s developer and I’m happy to report that AO never optimizes (wp-)admin pages 🙂
best,
frank
Hi @vladav,
Thank you, Frank, for clarifying that Autoptimize doesn’t optimize wp-admin pages.
@vladav, were you able to try the troubleshooting steps from my previous reply?
In particular, I’d be interested to know whether the issue still occurs when using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin with other plugins temporarily disabled for your user session.
That will help us determine whether this is being caused by a plugin conflict, theme conflict, or something else affecting the admin screen layout.
Thanks!
Hi @vladav ,
We’ve identified the issue, and it is actually caused by a problem with one of the Lite-version upsell notices displayed on taxonomy screens. This is why the layout appears broken in the admin area.
The good news is that our developers have already worked on a fix, and it will be included in the next plugin update.
We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. Once the next version is released and updated on your site, the layout should display normally again.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention and helping us track it down.
Thanks!
