We would like to add text above the meetings list, primarily to explain the difference between open and closed meetings, but also to explain briefly how to use the filters and to reiterate Tradition 4 as regards the District (responsible for the site) and the Intergroup (responsible for the where/when).

Building it out as a user-side landing page makes sense, but can I add html/css code somewhere specific to the plugin that will load before the meeting list since I can’t shortcode the meeting list onto my existing page?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Yes it’s possible.

Please do keep in mind that most users are on mobile devices and adding text above the meeting list makes the meeting list much harder to use on mobile.

But that said you can go to Appearance > Widgets and you can add a text widget into the widget area Meetings Top, that will appear above the list / map. Or Meetings > Bottom appears below.

If you wanted to minimize the impact on users, another option would be to simply add a link here to another page, for example something like Meetings FAQ or whatever.

Perfect! Sorry – didn’t see that in the documentation (probably didn’t look very closely – y’all should put it in a blue cover LOL)…and point taken on the impact.
