Adding Audio

    I read in the description that I can add audio using the hotspots, however I can’t find the option to play an audio.

    According to the plugin’s page:

    “Use hotspots that people can click to get additional information via tooltips, images, videos, or audio, so that visits can get questions answered, and interest piqued.”

    Is this option really available?

    Just to clarify the confusion, WP VR does not support audio as a hotspot type directly. The description on the plugin page refers to the Background Music feature, which is the way to add audio to your virtual tour.

    Then, the description in the plugin page is misleading, cause the plugin doesn’t support playin audio using hotspots.

    Other tools, like Kuula, or even H5P, support playing audio as a basic feature of the virtual tours.

    Do you have plans to support it in the near future?

    I understand why the wording on the plugin page led you to expect that audio could be played directly from a hotspot. I appreciate you pointing this out.

    At the moment, WP VR does not support audio playback as a hotspot action. Currently, audio is supported only through the Background Music feature for the tour.

    As for your question about future plans, we don’t have this feature on our roadmap at the moment. However, we’ll make sure to share your feedback with our product team for consideration in future planning. Feedback like yours helps us prioritize features that matter most to our users.
