Yes, it is possible to add a short description on each quiz page. You can also add images and suitable text.
For this, Create a new quiz or edit the existing quiz on your website.
Among the options Questions, Contact, Text, Options, Emails, Results Page, Style that appears on your page, select the Text option.
On the page, you can see the default text as Welcome to your %QUIZ_NAME%
You’re free to change the text as you wish giving a short introduction to your quiz. You can select the add media option to upload images as well.
Once done, update or publish your quiz.

Thank you for your answer. I saw this option but it covers only the home page of the quiz. The issue here is that i have multiple pages in my quiz. Each page corresponds to a specific category so it would be nice to have a short description on each page top.

You can do one thing at the beginning of each page just add the HTML question type and add your content to it.
