Do you have instructions on how to do that?
Have you tried using a different browser or disabling all of your plugins? There might be something in your site that stops you from using the upload function.
i just did ftp upload to content/uploads for some images
i didn’t work they don’t show up in the media library
i suggest another method.

after adding images via FTP you also need a plugin so they will show up in media library

When you go to the media library, I can add images. But when you go into the blog post and click on add media, nothing happens.
Most likely cause by javascript errors which you do have.
Have you tried:
-deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
-switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
