I had a look at your site, and the 2 issues you reported in the screencast seem to be fixed now:
If you still experience issues, you might want to clear your browser’s cache, as well as deactivate any caching plugins that may be active on your site to make sure they’re not causing any issues.
I hope this helps.
Sure, looks like everything is working fine as of now.
Thanks for the prompt help.
Manoj.
Yes, seems issue is resolved, thanks a ton.
Have deleted the caching plugins for now.
Hello,
Seems the issue is cropping up every 3rd day, again the home page is showing ads which are marked for “Health & Wellbeing” category.
Pls note, i dont have any cache plugins.
Also do you want my logins details??
Rgds
Could you try to deactivate all other plugins, one at a time, and let me know if you find a conflict with another plugin?
Thanks!
Hello Jeremy,
I have deactivated all the plugins (except Jeppack) i was using only 4. 1) Akismet, 2) blogvault 3) Facebook Like 4) Jetpack. See screenshot.
The problem still persists, Iam using a theme called “Canvas” from woothemes.
Do let me know, if my advertisers notice this, its going be a bit awkward.
Thanks
Manoj
Could you try to switch to one of the default themes for a few minutes and see if the problem disappears?
Thanks!
Well, this is a tough one, I will have to purchase a new theme to see if it works. As other free wordpress themes will disturb my branding.
I have also raised a ticket with the woothemes guys asking them to look into it, but their support is not very encouraging. Give me some time.
Thanks.
Hi,
I really dont have time to learn a new theme or calibrate it, right now I have placed the ad space widgets in the “primary sidebar”, would moving it to the “homepage side bar” help?
Sorry for the trouble, but I cant figure out who is responsible for this bug.
Since I don’t own the Canvas theme, I can’t tell you if changing between sidebar areas would help. I’m not sure what could be causing the issue on your site.
Here is what we know at this point:
- The problem doesn’t seem to be caused by plugin conflicts, as you’ve tried to disable them and it didn’t help.
- As I mentioned earlier, I can’t reproduce on my end using one of the default themes.
That leaves us with one difference between your site and mine: the theme. I don’t have access to the Canvas theme so I can’t test things on my end, but since it’s a premium theme you should be able to get some help from the Woothemes support team. They should be able to test and let you know if they can reproduce the problem on their end.
