Hello,
do you have the Pro version, by any chance, with the email customizer?
If not, here is a solution: http://pastebin.com/tBwvAuC7
Please test it out though, as I didn’t check for syntax errors.
Regards,
Gabriel
I have the pro verson and it does the same thing for me.
Hello,
if you have one of the latest versions, either 1.3.19 or 1.3.20, then you can simply use the new merge tag:
%%activation_link%%
This automatically detects the site-url and appends the activation key accordingly, making a clickable link.
Make sure you select the registration page on the General Settings tab, if you want to be able to resend activation emails correctly.
All in all, you can now use something as simple as:
To activate your user, please click the following link:
%%activation_link%%
After you activate, you will receive *another email* with your login.

Gabriel
Hello,
Need help… I was wondering why my registrations had come to a halt and discovered that the emails sent by Profile Builder when people try to register using the profile builder registration page are invalid. They look something like ?activation_key=a81513bbe05e7d16# and are not really links. If I resend the activation email from the admin dashboard registration works fine. Please help. I am using PB version 1.1.63 (the latest free version) with WordPress 3.9.1. I saw a response that you gave someone else on this 6 months ago (http://wordpress.org/support/topic/activate-user-link-does-not-work-anymore) and you sent them a pastebin fix but you did not specify how to use it, or what file to put the new code into or anything like that. Also that fix was for a much older version so I though this problem would have been fixed by now. Please help because I am losing potential subscribers since April.
Thanks,

Hello,
we did some testing regarding this, but unfortunately could not replicate this issue.
The code you are talking about would be added here: http://www.cozmoslabs.com/wordpress-profile-builder/faq/#10 but I would like to take a look at this issue personally. If you are ok with this, I will need a WP account with admin rights and FTP credentials to be sent to gabriel@cozmoslabs.com, along with a link to this thread, and I will get back to you ASAP.
Regards,
Gabriel
