Activate button not showing on many items!

    Hi I’m not seeing the activate button on about 16 items within JetPack.

    Including: Tiled Galleries, WP.me Shortlinks, Notifications, Publicize etc

    Working locally MAMP.

    I have switched over to Twenty Twelve, cleared the cache, deactivated all plugins ran the plugin to deactivate the Cleaner Gallery extension.

    Fresh install of the Jetpack plugin again, still no luck.

    HI, still no luck here, has anyone had this problem?

    I’ve searched and searched but haven’t found an answer yet.

    Working locally MAMP.

    Jetpack requires your site to be publicly accessible in order to connect with WordPress.com.
    Since you work in a local environment, Jetpack automatically switched to the development mode, where you can use all Jetpack features that do not require a WordPress.com connection.

    If you want to try the Tiled Galleries or Publicize, you will need to do so from a live site.

    Yep, that’s a great help and one I wasn’t aware of.

    just a note that I ran into the same problem/question. Perhaps whichever detection method Jetpack is using to show/hide the buttons could be used to FYI the user? Or in the help screen: “If you are not seeing activate buttons…”
