I just a question about the syncing posts from tumblr to wp.

i have a given tumblr post with a 3 images and a paragraph. when the post is imported to wordpress, it will display as:

    image1
    paragraph
    image2
    paragraph
    image2
    paragraph

    is this is resolvable?

unrelated, would it be possible to get the tumblr permalink and make it the wordpress post title (without the hyphens)? and also, would it be possible to add specific categories to imported posts?

i know the sync feature is still experimental, but i thought i’d just throw this out there.

    otherwise, great plugin!

    thanks!

Is this a photoset post on Tumblr?

Sadly, photosets are not yet supported (in either direction), so that may be why you’re seeing this problem. Tumblr posts with more than one image in them that are not part of a photoset should sync without an issue regardless of how many there are (as long as you have enough disk space to actually sync the image, of course).

If you’re experiencing this problem in a non-photoset post, then this is a bug and I’d be grateful to you if you could write it up as a bug in my issue tracker.

    Thanks. 🙂

this, unfortunately, is a photoset issue then. sadness.

    thanks for you reply!

Yup. Photosets are kind of a pain and the delay in supporting them has to do with Tumblr’s very frustrating data API parameter coupled with the fact that I am homeless living in my car. 😛 I’d be thrilled to accept patches for that open issue, though.
