    Li-An,

Yes, I have come across this issue, too. Trouble is, I can’t seem to find a way to have the settings page recognize that the thumbnail functionality is broken. Because, really, if the thumbnail option doesn’t exist on the edit page, the settings shouldn’t exist on the settings page.

What plugin are you using that breaks the thumbnail? Maybe I could include a quick fix just for that issue.

Unrelated: Sorry for not releasing the update yet… this week’s been a real bogger! I’ll get to it soon, promise!

    It was https://wordpress.org/plugins/drag-drop-featured-image/

But it’s an old plugin not maintained anymore so I am not sure you need to fix this for this plugin.

    Li-An,

Wouldn’t you know, I’ve already solved this exact issue in another support thread. 🙂

I have also integrated this fix into plugin track, so it should be working in all future versions.

When you update, just replace the plugin folder in FTP with the new version. If you delete it from the plugins page, it will also delete the settings. You can still update to new versions when they come out, and everything will continue to work as normal.

I will wait for new version. The drag&drop plugin is not a must for me.
