Hi @jrwebdesign,
I am sorry that was happened to you…
To be sure that it was SportsPress fault, please delete the SportsPress plugin folder from wp-content/plugins/. Dont worry, you will not loose any data. You can use either an FTP client, or a File Manager from cPanel/Plesk.
If the problem is still there, then you should come in contact with your host provider for further assistant.
Thanks,
Savvas
Hello @savvasha!
I’ve done this, so make sure it’s the plugin, delete the folder and it works again, so I tried to perform a new installation and the same problem occurred again.

Hi @jrwebdesign ,
You should check your error logs for more info. It seems that something is misonfigured at your server. You should contact with your hosting provider to help you out.
Thanks,
Savvas
It was confirmed by the hosting that the problem is with the plugin.
When we remove the folder from it, the site returns to normal.

The cause of 500 is SportsPress but we need more info to investigate. Some logs will be helpful to identify the root of the issue.
Thanks,
Savvas
I do not know where I could get an error log to send them, I requested the hosting and they also asked me to contact the plugin support.
At the last attempt I confirmed that it was not even necessary to activate the plugin, I removed it again and only installed it and my panel returned the error.

In the meantime you can try to disable all your plugins before re-installing SportsPress. If it installed and activated without error then try to activate one by one the other plugins to identify which one conflicts with SportsPress.
Thanks,
Savvad
I just did it, I deactivated all other plugins used, including sportpress soccer and the error remains.

Try also to switch to a default theme like Rookie or Twentyseventeen

Ok.. Can you try to replace modules/sportspress-default-nationality.php with the following before activating SportsPress:
https://github.com/ThemeBoy/SportsPress/blob/master/modules/sportspress-default-nationality.php
And then try to activate it.
I made the change and when I try to activate it it returns the error.
