    Hi all,

I have a line of code displayed throughout the entire of our company website to do with the old version of the 3cx live chat plugin.

I have uninstalled it, and I still have it. It’s something to do with the Elementor Plugin shortcode. See here: https://www.3cx.com/community/threads/3cx-wordpress-plugin-glitch.81638/

    Code displayed: <div class=”elementor-shortcode”>[3cx-clicktotalk id=”4478″ title=”Live Chat & Talk item 1″]</div>

[3cx-clicktotalk id=”4478″ title=”Live Chat & Talk item 1″] but this doesn’t exist in the wordpress plugins?

    Any suggestions?

    Hi @kozzy ,
as you already have been informed by our support team in your 3CX forum post , this is an issue because of the upgrade from an old of our plugins to a new one which doesn’t support WordPress shortcodes. As in any other case shortcodes must be removed by the admin manual after the plugin uninstallation.

This issue is probably connected with one of the following reasons or something else that it’s not related with 3CX Live chat

    1. There is a cache system enabled which have cached pages before the uninstall of the elementor builder plugin
    2. Elementor or some of its functionality is still enabled and renders the widget

Okay, what do you recommend us doing to fix this issue?

The website was built with the plugin Elementor, so we can’t disable that but also theres no access to the html, apart from the basic block stuff.

How do I go about with the cache system? I’ve uninstalled the old 3cx plugin, but the error code is still there.

    Thanks @wpdev3cx

    Hi @kozzy ,
provided that you have enabled the Elementor plugin, please refer to Elementor plugin’s support in order to help you with the disabling procedure of the widgets. I’m not sure but by the html code in your websites it seems like there exists a widget by Elementor which contains that code.
