16.1 killed it

    Since yesterday, after auto upgrade to 16.1, my Android app tells me I’m missing application password (invalid) and when I try to reconnect, it goes back in the same loop.

    I tried upgrading to 16.1.1 but when I upload the plug-in, it tells me that it’s out fo date. WTF?

    Only on one of my sites (9 out 8 are OK) but I’ve been getting errors using punycode DNS.

    Hey @yeyshonan,

    I can see why you’re frustrated. We clearly missed something in the 16.1 upgrade and reconnection path here, and the 16.1.1 “out of date” message only adds to the confusion.

    I’m asking one of our Happiness Engineers to take this from here and work through the affected site with you, including the application password and punycode DNS errors. They’ll follow up here shortly. If email is easier, we can move the conversation there.

    Let’s get this sorted.
