"0 items" on dropdown

Love CF7 btw. We are having an odd issue. On a multi-choice dropdown we have the following…
<p>Which Location(s) Are You Writing About?<br /> [select* Location multiple include_blank "Louisville" "Lexington" "Crescent Springs"]</p>On desktop it just shows it as a blank dropdown (would love to have text that says ‘select location’). On mobile it says “0 items” in the dropdown.
How can we change or remove this text?
