• Hi Guys,

This plugin doesn’t work on a client site hosted on GoDaddy, shared hosting, PHP V.7 or 7.1 but does under PHP v.5.6.

Is this a known issue or is ‘NoDaddy’ living up to it’s name as a ‘quality host’?

    Thanks guys.

    Hi,

Please check if you are running the latest version of the plugin. Please let me know if it’s PHP 7 or 7.1 . Also please provide an error message from the plugin.

I’ve tried on 7.0 and 7.1, the front end works fine, when I go to ‘Buttons’ in the back end the error message is just ‘Oops, this page can’t be loaded, Error 500’.

So it doesn’t break the created buttons in the front end, even on 7 or 7.1 but the ability to create or modify buttons in the dashboard results in that ‘Oops, this page can’t be loaded, Error 500’.

It is fine when I roll php back to V. 5.6.

You should be able to find that error in some error log. I’m not sure how GoDaddy handles that.

Also again, check which version of MaxButtons you have. (6.11 had a problem with PHP 7 )

I just tested 7.1.x and 7.0.x and both work properly.
