Can only use one sidebar?

Hi, i try to use this plugin with the 3Clicks / Bring the Pixel theme.

– made one sidebars through the widget section
– selected sidebar 1 in the page which works

– made another side through the widget section
– selected sidebar 2 in the page but this one overrules sidebar 1

I guess all setting are ok.

I must select the sidebar IN the page;

i can’t select the location in the widget area – is that correct?

hello win-gersh,

I’m not sure if I understand correctly what you want to achieve. You have two custom sidebars and you want to use them in place of the original primary sidebar? Or another sidebar? Does every sidebar you want to replace has option “Allow this sidebar to be replaced” ticked?
Let me know about details so I could advise more.

Hi,

Thanks for your quick reply (i’m the same person but since i work on different location, i forgot my login from yesterday ;p).

I have a website which i want to have a different sidebar per page (with different content of course).

So i’ve made a sidebar through the widget area with content (static block – plugin). I can’t connect sidebars in the widget area (see screenshots) and i have to select them in the page themselve. That worked for one sidebar, but the second sidebar overruled the firest one.

Hello wickedwork,

Custom sidebars for unique pages should be set in page edit (you second screenshot) – in widget screen you can setup custom sidebars for other view like archives, category pages, front page, search results.

But I tested this on my site and I could not replicate that one sidebar overruled another one when two pages had two different sidebars in the same place.

Could you check if this issue still shows when you switch your site to default WordPress theme like twenty seventeen? It might be conflict with theme you have right now.
