listening. Mine just stopped working a few minutes ago.
I am also getting the same issue, It has suddenly stopped working and while trying to authenticate it redirects to the following page that says to upgrade the API

Hi there,
Even I am getting the same error message on all my website. It has suddenly stopped working and while trying to authenticate it redirects to the following page that says to upgrade the API

I’ve got the same problem… has this plugin been orphaned or is someone still developing it?
Same problem here. Google did say they have changed to OAuth 2.0. OAuth 1.0 was deprecated and no longer supported as of April 20, 2015.

I’ll try to submit the bug request on GitHub.
UPDATE: this was already reported at GitHub earlier today, but no response yet.
Same issue for me!
it seems this plugin is developed with Joost de Valk @joostdevalk, so i hope someone will update it…
Pretty sure now that Joost upgraded his stuff to make money, this plugin is abandoned.
Does anyone know a good alternative… i just use the short code to say, this page was visited [google_analytics_views] times!
i’m thinking this plug is dead too π
thanks in advance.
I found an alternative that I’m testing on one of my sites – Google Analytics Dashboard for WP that seems to be actively maintained.
Broken here too. Shouldn’t be too hard to fork and fix the OAuth error?
Clearly broken. Clearly abandoned. This is why I hate using plugins.
I just downloaded a different plugin Google Analytics Dashboard for WP 4.7.2, but it is much more complicated for me to configure than the GAD plugin. I’ll try getting it up and running tomorrow, if I can. I also sent an email to the contact at GAD asking if there’s a new version coming along, so we’ll see if they bother to respond.
