Sorry I should of been more clear. I’m talking about the post formats themes http://codex.wordpress.org/Post_Formats. So is there anyway to choose the type of post format theme?
No there is no option to select post format theme.
I don’t see a drop down just tabs that says.
Post Page User/roles.
My import works but goes into the normal post.
I am trying to import the data into a custom post type.

You should enable any modules from settings for 3.5. Just to make simplified UI we have added feature to enable/disable modules when needed. Also start a new thread instead of hijacking a resolved thread. It is hard to track issues.
