Plugin not responding on PHP 8.3

Hello Support Team,

I’m using your ChatGPT / OpenAI plugin on a WordPress website and I’m facing a compatibility issue with PHP versions.

Problem

When I switch the server PHP version to PHP 8.3, the plugin stops working correctly:

the chat widget shows continuous “typing” / keeps generating output,

but no actual response is returned (it never completes).

When I switch back to PHP 8.1, the plugin works (at least partially) and returns responses.

Please let us know the plugin version you are using and your WordPress version.

Also, please contact your hosting provider and ask them to check the server error logs to see if there are any errors or warnings related to our plugin.

Here are the details you requested:

Plugin: AI ChatBot with ChatGPT and Content Generator by AYS

Plugin version: 7.1.2.100

WordPress version: 6.9

I’ve checked this behavior multiple times:

On PHP 8.1 the plugin works (responses are returned).

On PHP 8.3 the chatbot shows continuous “typing” but never returns a response.

At the moment I do not see visible PHP errors on the frontend, but I will contact my hosting provider and request server error logs specifically for PHP 8.3 and get back to you with any relevant warnings or errors related to the plugin.

Please also let me know:

Is PHP 8.3 officially supported by the current plugin version?

Are there any known issues with PHP 8.3 (stream handling / curl / deprecated functions)?
