    Hey guys
I created a new event. I have some customers, that envrolled to a previous event. Now the cannot enroll, because they cannot enroll to their account (email already exists).

I see two options to solve:
    1. They can log in into to the site. Where can I engage that? How can I activate the button?
    2. There will be no user-account (I like that). Is it possible to stop that?

    Best
    Karem

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi,
    EM user here too 🙂

(All settings are in Events > Settings > Bookings)

To have members log in, you can display the log-in field next to the booking form.
Booking Form Options > Display Log-in Form.
Or you can use any log-in plugin. The one by the same lead developer as Events Manager is https://wordpress.org/plugins/login-with-ajax/

To not create an account, go to No-User Booking Mode.
Enable – no means no new user accounts will be made from now on.

The second option tells EM not to check if the email already exists. But then users cannot see their reservations in My Bookings, as the info will no longer be linked.

There will be no user-account (I like that). Is it possible to stop that?

That is called “Guest Bookings”. No user accounts, no “My Bookings” and “Users cannot cancel their booking” (because they cannot log in).

Best settings for that are (combined):
    1) General Options > Allow Guest Bookings = Yes
    2) General Options > Allow double bookings? = Yes
    3) Booking Form Options > Show Log-in Form? = No
    4) No User Booking Mode > Enable = No

    Hope it helps. 😉
