Free Tools to Automate Your Site Growth

Description

Most blogs are designed for hit-and-run readers. People find your blog, read your article, and leave. Wouldn’t it be nice if some of those people subscribed or shared your amazing post?

Sumo provides free tools you need to grow your WordPress site. This plugin will make it easy for your readers to join your email list, share your articles, and optimize with analytics. The free tools include:

List Builder will let you create a fancy lightbox pop up to build email subscriptions (for MailChimp, Aweber, Constant Contact, Campaign Monitor, GetResponse, ActiveCampaign, MyEmma, Mad Mimi, Infusionsoft, Feedblitz, HubSpot, MyNewsletterBuilder, Inbox First, Sailthru, Klaviyo, Vero, Pardot, Zapier, Ontraport, ExactTarget, Vertical Response, Drip, MailerLite, WhatCounts, ConvertKit, MailJet, Maropost, and others).

Share makes it insanely easy for people to share your content on mobile or web.

Welcome Mat displays a full-screen call-to-action that shows when visitors land on your site.

Heat Maps help you see where people are clicking (or not clicking) on your website.

Scroll Box is an email collection box triggered by how far your reader makes it down the screen.

Smart Bar is a Floating Bar that can appear at the top or bottom of your website. You can encourage people to subscribe to your newsletter, go to a specific page or follow you on your social networks.

Highlighter makes it easy to click to tweet about your article by selecting popular parts of your writing (like Kindle and Medium).

Image Sharer makes it simple to share your images (with a link to your post) on Pinterest, Facebook and Twitter.

And even more great free tools in our Sumo Store.

Now, people will find your blog, read your article, share your article on Twitter/Facebook/Pinterest, and subscribe via email to your email newsletter.

Reviews

Meh

It’s a nice plugin, but I really hate the fact they say it’s “free”, and constantly are trying to sell to you all the features of the damn thing, some of us don’t need all the stuff of the pluging, stop pushing

Great tool to start growing your audience

I’ve been using Sumo on my blog (www.fourweekmba.com) in the last few months and overall I found it very useful. There are quite a few features that can be great to start building your audience. From email marketing to heat maps and customized CTAs it is a pretty simple and effective tool!

Easy to Use and Very Simple

This plugin is very useful and simple. I am trying hard to search which one is the most nice looking and easy management of social share, so the answer is sumome. Hope someday I can take the paid version, I am stuck because of the payment method (I do not have credit card). Many Thanks.

Should be removed from WP distro

Should honestly be removed from the plugin distro on WordPress. Essentially 10% of the features are available in the freemium version, which is ultimately a giant advertising tool for AppSumo. The description is a completely inaccurate representation of the plugins capabilities as the free version does not integrate with any e-mail marketing providers. Surprised this isn’t a violation of the WP.org TOS.

Don’t deceive users! Your’e expensive, not free!

I had this plugin on my site about 5 minutes before deleted it. It should be named “Expensive Tools…”, not Free! No free integrations with emaillers? Fine! Some terrible popups, when I can find around amazing free ones? Other “tools”? If you have a few minutes you will find similar nice and really FREE tools, not these expensive! Your greed will kill your reputation. Everything would be fine if you would tell the truth: “We have a nice plugin. It’s expensive enough but it has some really needful tools. And we offer some free functions for WP users also!“. But you’re lying, you play unfair and you deceive users!
