Improve your WordPress SEO: Write better content and have a fully optimized WordPress site using Yoast's WordPress SEO plugin.
Works great. Very easy to use, lots of great notes and instructions.
Every time this plugin has an update, I click to go somewhere else in the admin menu and this plugin hijacks my click to take me to it's update screen.
There's nothing important there, it's simply a waste of time for everyone using this plugin.
Otherwise this plugin is great, but please stop hijacking our clicks. Really stupid and shameful practice.
I've used Yoast's plugin for years because it gives me so many things I want. Beyond titles and meta descriptions, the canonicals and XML sitemaps are things I use a lot. But lately the plugin has just grown so big it's hard to keep it running smoothly on the largest site I manage. Currently looking at other options because it takes up too many resources. I would love it if this plugin could scale back and have modules, similar to WooCommerce, so I could leave out all the things I don't use.
There is no question that my site was hacked because of this plugin. Everything gone, and it amazes me that WordPress still practically forces users to download it, and trust that it is safe.
Creating a website has become such a nightmare with all these plugins and security issues. There has to be a better way...
People DESERVE to know when plugins have been compromised so they can take extra measures immediately.
after upgrading to WordPress 4.1.2 no longer visible the the SEO plugin items in the articles
I'm still wrapping my head around SEO and this plugin makes it easy. Great tool to help me formulate my posts and pages for maximum effect.
XML sitemap feature seriously needs a "pages to exclude" functionality!
I've updated your plugin on several of my client's websites recently and in the past. Every time, when the updates are complete and I click on an admin page to go to, your plugin hijacks the click sending me to your update page.
Please stop that. Otherwise it's a good plugin, but that really needs to stop.
Every week now there seems to be a security risk with this thing. Deleted.
