Good, very good and the sitemap perfect function.
If you download this plugin and find any problems with you be sure you won't get any help from the Yoast team, apparently they only support those that pay for it, even when it is obvious that the glitch is because of something they have done.
new version 3.4 have serious problem
it always show error for page title length while ive written about 50-70 character :
The page title is too short. Use the space to add keyword variations or create compelling call-to-action copy.
It's a great SEO plugin. Had no problems in the past. But with the latest upgrade, I saw the readability score of almost all old posts getting down from 70% to 50%. Couldn't understand the reason at all. Is it an issue with the new upgrade (3.4) or was some fault with the previous versions? I wish someone from the Yoast would surely address it as it may affect a large no. of its users.
Anyways, I would still rate it like I would have done for a SEO swiss knife i.e. 4 Stars.
Very, very nice.
Honestly, I can not tell you if it even works.
What I can tell you is that if you want a product that constantly places new banners at the top of your admin page, this may be for you!
If you want Yoast product advertisements force fed to you, this is definitely the plugin for you!
They claim to be compatible with WPML and WOOCOMMERCE but it is not true. The plugin is not working with the main shop page and there is a workaround for not multilingual sites, to make it work. As my site is multilingual with WPML I dont have any chance on using this plugin with my woocommerce site.
Apparently the problem is that YOAST cant find the main shop page as a page of woocommerce, so it does not show the metas.
I was quite happy with the titles set by WordPress and/or the plugins I'm using; this plugin seems to do a worse job at deciding the title, and the behaviour cannot be overridden except with some code (though at least
public and can be easily set to a subclass removing the
pre_get_document_title filter and calling
The canonical URL for the homepage is wrong; it should end in a trailing slash (the rest of our permalink structure does not have trailing slashes, but the home/root page does; WordPress itself gets it right).
I would like to be able to restrict the admin meta boxes to either certain user privileges or certain post types.
I would like to be able to control the canonical URL for 'paged' pages as I am using an infinite scrolling plugin.
I am sure all this is possible with some code, but for a +1m download plugin just adding a few meta tags I would have expected it to be more out-of-the-box.
As everyone I'm also a fan of this plugin. I love this plugin so much. It's setting and process is so good.
Been using Yoast SEO for over 6 months now. Great tool to analyse your SEO score and optimize your content for search engines.
